Maud Heath - Monument on Wick Hill

Maud Heath merits two monuments - one on Wick Hill and the other on the banks of the Avon at Kellways (near Tytherton and Langley Burrell, just beyond Chippenham from Melksham - or behind Derryhill if you go that way. And then there's Maud Heath's Causeway built by the bequest of an egg salesman who walked the route her whole life and bequested £8.00 a year for its upkeep - still being delivered over 500 years later.
