Originally known as "The County Ground" roundabout after the football stadium behind it, this Swindon roundabout became know as "The Magic Roundabout" by everyone locally - with a series of five mini roundabouts around a centre core.

The Magic Roundabout

Eventually, officialdom gave way and it's now, officially too, the Magic Roundabout. It works excellently - I suspect because most of the users are regulars; I would hate to see what would happen if this was a tourist route!
