Barmouth, Aberglaslyn and mid Wales

Barmouth is set on the mid Wales coast at the estuary of the river Mawwdach - these days it's a quiet holiday town in a beautiful setting.

The estuary is crossed by the Barmouth Bridge which conveys the single line railway and a footpath - road transport heading south still has to drive a long loop. Views from the bridge are spectacular.
