With just a scattering of houses, the community of Avoncliff is very fortunate to boast a railway station, with an hourly train that stops by request, a pub, a cafe, and lovely scenery including an aquaduct over the river Avon. All of which help to make it a popular summer day out destination for those of us 'in the know'.
