Wroughton is a village to the south of Swindon that's become something of a 'burb these days - probably somewhere that most visitors pass through rather than stopping. But there are some interesting surprises.


Science Museum, Wroughton
The Science Museum (of London) stores some 20,000 exhibits - mostly larger pieces including a complete hangar plus more of aircraft - in the old RAF Wroughton. My thanks to Peter Goodearl for permission to use his picture - see much more of the Science Museum Store on his web site

The Science Museum store is open to the public for special events and occasionally otherwise through the year. NOT daily (mores the pity - it's a visit well worth making!)
