Tollgate Cafe, Pennsylvania

I pass through the village of Pennsylvania near Bath on my way from the Wellhouse training centre in Melksham to the M4 motorway if I'm heading to Bristol or the Severncrossings. Always intrigued by the name - I rather suspect some connection to the American State of Pennsylvania and would welome inputs.

Just beyond Pennsylvania is the Tollgate Cafe - I've often passed and seen crowds outside, but as I'm usually "on a schedule" I didn't have a chance to stop until the other day. Another mile or so gets you to Dyrham park ....
