Devon is a huge county with a great deal to see - from the South Coast and the rolling hills to the East of the county, to the seaside resorts of Torquay and Paington in the South and the city of Plymouth in the extrmere South West. Add in the rugged North coast and the high moors of Dartmoor and Exmoor and what more could you want? Exeter is the county town of Devon.

Near Sidmouth, you'll find the Donkey Sanctuary where many mistreated and retired donkeys are looked after ... and as well as providing homes for a very large number of animals, it's a major tourist attraction too.

The coastline of Lyme Bay in the sweep around from the Chesil Beach behind Weymouth to Torbay is a mixture of beaches and cliffs, with some harbours too.
