| For 2023 (and 2024 ...) - we are now fully retired from IT training. We have made many, many friends over 25 years of teaching about Python, Tcl, Perl, PHP, Lua, Java, C and C++ - and MySQL, Linux and Solaris/SunOS too. Our training notes are now very much out of date, but due to upward compatability most of our examples remain operational and even relevant ad you are welcome to make us if them "as seen" and at your own risk. Lisa and I (Graham) now live in what was our training centre in Melksham - happy to meet with former delegates here - but do check ahead before coming round. We are far from inactive - rather, enjoying the times that we are retired but still healthy enough in mind and body to be active! Brunswick, Maryland
[imgl=brustreet]Brunswick, Maryland street scene[/imgl]Brunswick, Maryland is alongside the Potomac River and Chesapeake and Ohio Canal - a town with a population of around 5000, and a strong rail commuter flow to Washington DC, to which the journey takes around 80 minutes. [imgr=bruantiques]Antiques in Brunswick[/imgr] The streets of Brunswick house a number of antique and souvenir stores - many with very limited hours showing that their traffic is mostly weekend visitors - no double people coming out from the DC area to the beautiful setting. [imgl=brugents]Mommers Cafe, Brunswick, Maryland[/imgl]Some of the facilities are poor / basic - as shown by the door lock on the Gents at Mommer's Home Cooking store where - on the day of our visit at least - the cooking was canned rather than home cooked, and the duty 'chef' didn't seem to have even been able to heat things up as he / she should have done!
