Waterwheel on the Avon at Batheaston

Just upstream of Bath you'll find Batheaston and Bathampton on opposite banks of the river Avon - a drive of just 10 miles or so from the training centre where we hold our public courses.

Pubs and restaurants nestle alongside the river and the canal and you can choose from a quick and cheerful meal right up to something much more exquisite and expensive.

There's just the occasional boat on the river (as every boat has to turn back at the weir) but the canal is busting with waterbourne traffic. The towpath here is also part of the national Cycling network.
