giving out Christmas money
this example from a Well House Consultants training course
Source code: xmas Module: P255
$nkids = 17; $spend = 150.00; for ($inf = 1; $inf <= $nkids; $inf++) { $each = $spend / $inf; printf "With %2d in favour you will give them %7.2f each\n",$inf,$each; } __END__ This example program divides a sum of money between up to 17 children, and is used as a data formatting example. Money is always quoted to 2 places of decimals, but the results of some of these divisions are rarely that accurate.
