Perl module P604
Using Perl for Web Site Management
Exercises, examples and other material relating to training module P604. This topic is presented on public courses Using Perl on the Web, Perl Extra
How do you manage the data that's going to go on your web pages? Even if your website is mostly composed of flat HTML files, you'll still have a major task on your hands, and Perl can play its part. For example, it allows you to keep just one or two template files for the look and feel of the site, and then separate files (or perhaps XML or a database) of information that's used to complete those templates to make up your web pages. Such a scheme is a "Content Management System".
