Perl module P409
Searching
Exercises, examples and other material relating to training module P409. This topic is presented on public course Using Perl on the Web
As your web site grows from half a dozen pages to a hundred or a thousand, how are you going to help your customers find their way around? A good web site design with clear navigation is always vital but you'll also be well advised to provide some sort of search capability to help your users find the needle they want in what will inevitably become a bit of a haystack. We study algorithms for searching small and medium sized sites (or parts of sites) and provide pointers for you to indexing systems for large data sets.
