PHP module H204
PHP and MySQL example application - adhoc database analysis
Exercises, examples and other material relating to training module H204. This topic is presented on public courses Learning to program in PHP, PHP Programming
BackgroundA database SELECT is comprised two types of element - the elements which specifies the tables to be joined and how they're to be joined, and the elements that specify which rows and columns are wanted on the results, and how they're to be grouped and sorted. The sample application covered in this module allows authorised users to select rows and columns from a set of tables, but places the joins and other mandatory elements in configuration files beyond their reach.
