When we travel in the UK, we usually connect in using a service such as BT's Openzone if we have require to send serious traffic to and from the Internet. At quieter times, we use a bluetooth connection from our Mac to AOL, from which we access our own webmail service. Isn't technology marvellous! When you come on a public course in Melksham, you've welcome to bring your own laptop which you can connect in via cat 5 ethernet (10/100 base T) or wireless (IEEE 802.11b). Either of these connections gives you direct access to our 3 Mbit internet connection, and there's no charge made irrespective of how much traffic you have to send. It's ideal for busy trainees who need to check in with their office and do their "day job" once they're finished learning Perl for the day.
