PHP supports a huge variety of technologies - mostly through functions. We have a saying that the answer to almosty every question from our PHP trainees is "there's a function to do that", and we encourage them to look up the function on the PHP web site or in books. Here's a sneak photo taken one evening during a PHP course, showing a trainee's workstation and the "PHP Functions" book lieing close at hand. I guess this student had already picked up our philosophy.
