Tcl is an excellent language for engineers in the Numerical Control, Integrated Circuit Design, Software Distribution, web and other industries to use for tailoring larger software systems. It's used within software by Unigraphics, Cloverleaf, Xilinx, Mentor, Vignette and Novodimg amongst others to provide users of that software to tailor it more closely to their needs.
