When you go on a course, you probably never think about all the backup that's there (or should be!). We use reliable equipment. If a piece of equipment becomes unreliable with age, we replace it. But, with up to 7 students on a public course and perhaps twice that number on a private course, there are bound to be occasional hardware failures. That's not a problem to us - we always have a spare system available, and the tutor presents the course using a pair of systems that double up for each other ... and also provides a further system that can be used by a trainee.
