We've been providing Open Source language training (languages like PHP and Perl) for a number of years, and we've found them in use in a wide variety of interesting applications. One of our early PHP course was given to a group at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, An t-Eilean Sgitheanac (Isle of Skye), who are using the internet and its technologies to maintain a dictionary and thesaurus of the Gaellic language, which differs from area to area, island to island. This application was featured in an early edition of our "Of Course" newsletter. We've also provided Perl training for personnel involved in the maintenance of bilingual sites in Welsh and English.
