We use portable screen projectors to allow us to demonstrate the languages that we're teaching to our trainees. It's all very well showing students a completed database design, but they'll rightly ask "how did you come up with that?". So we start our courses with a blank screen, and we show them all the steps in the design. We're very fortunate to have a tutor with the deep technical knowledge and ability to demonstrate in this way - it's probably one of the features of a Well House Consultants course that makes it quite out of the ordinary, and it's probably one of the reasons that we're usually booked up well ahead with a mixture of courses in subjects like Perl, PHP and Python. This particular picture was taken on a MySQL course, but of course the projector we use is the same no matter what the course subject.
