The Marlborough Downs from the Vale of Pewsey
The Marlbourough Downs - less that 100 miles from London, and yet the heart of
beautiful countryside. I moved to Wiltshire from London's outer suburbs around
25 years ago, and I've never looked back since. The beauty of the rolling
hills, the tranquility, coupled with the friendlyness of the people, make this
a great place to live. The many country towns, stately homes, and major tourist
spots such as Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath all combine to make it a great place
for visitors too.
