The genuine product?

I have a watch that I bought for 4 Canadian Dollars on our first "Perl Whirl" trip in the autumn of 2000, at Vancouver airport. It's served me very well, even though I've not got a clue as to who made it. Not exactly a "fake" as it doesn't claim to be any particular brand, but a good deal; all too often the big names seem to be poor value for money due to inefficient systems, complex organisations and supply chains, and profiteering. We attended our second "Perl Whirl" in the Autumn of 2004, and I was amused to see this sign near Izmir in Turkey - I didn't need a watch, as my "Vancouver" is still AOK. Training courses are another excellent area where you can get a superb service from a lesser known name. Lisa and Graham Ellis of Well House Consultants have been providing Perl training courses since 1996; they're constantly improving and updating their courses (thus attendance at the Perl Whirl conferences) and offer four different public courses in additon to tailored training for individual client groups of 4 to 16 trainees. Our small size makes us able to be responsive to your requirements, we've actually learnt from the originators of the languages we teach (so aren't training third fourth of fifth hand) and if you're with a large organisation concerned about our product or stability, we'll offer you credit and only invoice you upon completion of the course you book. We have absolute faith in our product and know that you'll be delighted.
