Melksham's an ideal touring centre. To the East, you have the Marlborough Downs where this picture was taken at Avebury. To the West you have the Roman City of Bath, and lovely rolling countryside around. To the North is Lacock, the National Trust village and Abbey and other cotswold villages such as Biddestone and Castle Combe. And to the South, you have Longleat house and safari park, Stonehenge, Salisbury Plain, Old Sarum and Salisbury itself.
