Perl is a wide ranging tool that doesn't fear new technologies - it embraces them. We've been teaching Perl from a beginner right through to an advanced level since 1996, and we have a library of material that's probably second to none. We write and maintain our own course notes, and if necessary will write additional material to cover extra topics you would like to learn about ... in practise that's quite rare as we've usually "seen it before" with most requests. Perl does change, however, and so must our notes. If you look in our course manuals, you'll usually find a print date that's just a few days before your course date, and notes about material updates within the last few months.
