We have about 500 technical books on the shelves in our office - available for referenece during public courses - and we bring a good selection of those books on site with us to private courses too. Why? Because trainees often ask "what book should I get" and one of the best ways of answering is to say "have a look at these and choose which suits you best". Even the very best of bookstores in places like London and Oxford have only a proportion of the books that we have in our particular subject areas - so you'll be able to make a more informed choice of what to order if you have a look through our library. And if we're teaching you Perl in Bangor, Tcl in Galway or Java in West Wales, chances are that your local bookstore will have other specialisations.
