There's no such thing as an average or typical course - but this on site class had most of the elements. It was a three day Perl course, for 8 trainees with a variety of existing programming skills, and it followed closely (but not exactly) our public Perl course agenda ... some of the more specialist elements (such as using Perl for system administration, and Perl's use through CGI) were left out, and we added in training on POD, and on handling huge data files in Perl - so that the training covered such topics as monitoring long running jobs, regular expression and data reading efficiency, user feedback lines, sending signals to a process to effect it while it's running, etc. Also - again typical for a course - the student reviews all rated the course as excellent throughout, and everyone who attended would also recommend the course to others.
