Supporting the Community
Well House Consultants moved its business to Melksham in 2000, and has never looked back. We run niche computer training courses here, bringing visitors into the town from far and wide. And last year, we opened our own business hotel - Well House Manor - where our delegates and other business travellers to the town can stay.

We love it here in Melksham, and want to give back to the community in which we live. And what better way to do so than by helping out with the technolgy on which we provide training? In 2005, we were made aware of threats to the continuance of the local train service - although it had been growing rapidly for the previous few years, a new franchise agreement threatened to wipe it out almost totally, to the detriment of the town and to the detriment of other people want to travel across Wiltshire.

Although we lost the majority of our trains, some did survive ... and very slowly they're starting to come back. A southbound Sunday service was restored from December 2007 for the first time in a year ... and we have great hopes for 2009.

We now host the "Save the Train" website dedicated to the return of an appropriate level of trains of this service, and we also host the "First Great Western Coffee shop" which is a forum run by customers of that franchise, where they can discuss issues that are important to them.
