"We didn't know you were here" ... how frequently we hear that comment when residents of Melksham pop in to Well House Manor. It shouldn't really be too much of a worry to us, as our business is primarily in
niche IT training and < href=http://www.wellhousemanor.co.uk>business and leisure hotel accommodation, both of which bring people to Melksham from far and wide, rather than catering to the local population. So - to the residents of Melksham - "Yes, we are here" and "We're open, we're welcoming, and we would love you to pop in and see us - we have a cafe and a museum of Melksham on site, and they're open every afternoon".
We appreared, in the spring of this year, on the TV show "4 in a Bed", where B&B owners go round, stay at each other's places, and score one another. It's a no-holds-barred show, where the guests are not people who have selected you from your publicity information and decided they want to stay, but rather the guests are selected by the TV production company as being those who are likely to make the most interesting TV, or perhaps to rub each other up the wrong way. We came out second out of four - I would describe that as an "honourable second" - amongst very tough competition indeed from three other places all of which had to be very high quality indeed in the first place to even be selected to appear. See us
[here] on the "Four on Demand" site - which (sorry) is only viewable within the UK due to our copyright and other laws and contracts.

We scored 93% on the show. For other guests - those who choose to stay with us because they like the look of us - we score even higher, and it's those guest / customer reviews that help others learn and understand what we offer, what we don't cater for, and if we'll be good for them to stay. They help potential customers make an informed decision. A snapshot of the current reviews (as I write) is alongside this article, or you can see the current reviews
[here]. I know that's going to change within 48 hours of writing, as we get pre-altered to new reviews before they go on the site.
A big "THANK YOU" to our team who are really the ones who help make and maintain the quality of the reviews, by giving our customers a warm reception in a spotless, tranquil and well maintained environment. Although Melksham residents are unlikely to stay in Melksham (they have their own homes!), we are becoming the "hotel of choice" for visiting friends and relatives where the people being visited don't have quite the number of spare beds they would need. And for such visitors, who tend to come and go at times that aren't typical of most visitors, our door keycards provide the ultimate of flexibility. If you're thinking of having your friends or relatives stay with us, pop in and have a look. We're happy to show you round, and that includes any unoccupied bedrooms too. With guests checking out and in most days, there's usually a room to look at during the day.
