Spelling and grammar

Here on "The Horse's Mouth" and in our Forum, you'll find many writings and posts that have spooling mistooks and where the grammar aint quite right.

I do try to type accurately, but this is very much a diary, and forum answers are pretty informal too, so I'm not too worried about the odd letters transposed. I do try to ensure accuracy of sample code by running it before I publish the page.

Other can post comments here, and ask questions on open talk. Do I correct their spelling and grammar? No - I don't - I let it be. Only where an incorrect word claerly causes a change of meaning will I jump in (my own common error is "now" for "not") and edit, and I'll add a footnote to say what I've done. Where a post shows a misunderstanding of a subject and draws an incorrect conclusion, I'll add the what / why / wherefore in a separate post.

But if you find any typos on our main site - PLEASE email me - at graham@wellho.net and you'll find that I both acknowledge with thanks and have the page fixed in very short measure.
