Script Display Posted by mansoorx (mansoorx), 8 May 2006 Hello,When i run Expect script , it start to display every command which i add in the script, if i dont want to see these commands during execution , just execute in the backend, what can i do. This is the script: spawn telnet 192.168.0.1 expect "Username:" send "abcr" expect "Password:" send "123\r" expect "switch>" send "enable\r" expect "Password:" send "123\r" expect "switch#" send "sh int des | in Fa0/3\r" Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 8 May 2006 To turn off the echo, use the commandlog_user 0 Posted by doublea1535 (doublea1535), 16 August 2006 Is there a way to prevent the output from echoing to the screen but still have the output logged to a file? I am using log_user 0 and then log_file but this is preventing any output from reaching my log file.Posted by doublea1535 (doublea1535), 16 August 2006 I found the answer...log_file -a filename will apparently ensure that suppressed output makes it into the file still.
