Zope and Plone Training - with or without Python Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 20 January 2007 Every so often, we notice a hole in the market - people asking us "do you provide training in xxx", where "xxx" is a subject that's associated with once of our core courses, but is its own distinct subject. And it's from such enquiries that our whole business has grown. So I do know what I'm doing here when I say "at present, we offer Python courses but not courses on Zope or Plone." I know there's a good market out there. I know a lot of the people who want such training, and with a mutual respect as I've taught Python to many of them. And I know what is (and what isn't) on offer elsewhere. We would be well placed - no, we would be excellently placed, to provide facilities for expandinging into Zope and Plone courses. Given time, we could be excellently placed to provide the material and tutor too. This post is dipping a toe in the water. Firstly, if you are (or know) a Zope and / or Plone expert who comes across well and is good with people, please suggest to him / her thah he / she gets in touch. Secondly, if you are looking for such a person yourself, get in touch as well. I cannot (and will not) promise you a course this side of [names date 6 months ahead], but I may very well be tempted to invite you over for a day to explore some of the aspects of these products at lower-than-course costs to yourself, and to our mutual technical benefit.
