PYTHON on LINUX Posted by cloughie (cloughie), 1 November 2007 I've been told that there's a problem with porting Python programs to Linux, at least those that contain calls to ODBC.Well, I've just ftp'd some over and, sure enough, I get an error to do with ODBC: import odbc ImportError: No module named odbc Is there something else I should be using when porting to Linux ? Thanks Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 2 November 2007 ODBC is very much more Windows than Linux, I'm afraid so, yes, much easier under windows. But have a look at these links as starter points:http://www.egenix.com/products/python/mxODBC/ http://www.easysoft.com/developer/interfaces/odbc/linux.html This page is a thread posted to the opentalk forum
