How far from your Python? Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 12 December 2003 This is a piece of shameless experimentation by the operator of the board ... Ruby and Python seem to be - err - quiet here ... perhaps they're up and coming languages that haven't yet up'd. We're certainly finding interest (and doing some work and training) in Python but typically from the professional who doesn't need later support as he already knows ten languages, and adding the two to make it a dozen is no great shakes. So - this board can be sorted by postcode (yes, by UK postcode!!) if you pulldown on the menu that will appear below when I have the code working. %%pulldown%% Added an hour or so later - I have it working; please go try Posted by admin (Graham Ellis), 24 January 2004 An update - 2004 seems to be the year of the Python I have to say that I've been using it much more extensively this month. The more I do the more I like the language. Watch this page for updates / tips; I have a good few questions - it's just that they're not posted by the forum, so I'll put them up here via the "enquirer" account to help seed this resource!
