ABOUT THE AUTHOR

William CrawfordWilliam "Will" Crawford got involved with Web development back in 1995. He has worked at the Children's Hospital Informatics Program in Boston, where he helped develop the first Web-based electronic medical record system and was involved in some of the first uses of Java at the enterprise level. He has consulted on intranet development projects for, among others, Children's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, the Boston Anesthesia Education Foundation, and Harvard Medical Center.
