48, Spa Road becomes Well House Manor
My fortune cookie tells me Vision is not enough - it must be combined with venture. From a feast of good B&Bs and hotels when we moved to Melksham eight years ago, we're now headed towards a famine. And one of the landladies currently running one of the local establishments wrote to us sadly still not sold. And so, the Well House Manor project was born. The customer base
From from Autumn, 2006, we'll started providing accommodation for delegates who
are attending courses with us in Melksham. We've got years of experience in knowing what our client
base is looking for - what they really need or want, what they would like to have on top, and
what's really not wanted at all even though it might be part of most accommodation packages. Only occasionally is every place taken on a course - the subjects we teach are niche ones - so we've usually some extra capacity at Well House Manor during the week. Some weeks, we're running courses away so we'll have plenty of open rooms. They'll be available for other business visitors to Melksham who want a quiet base in the town while they're visiting Avon or Knorr-Bremse, G-Plan or the National Trust, the Divisional Police HQ or one of the many other smaller businesses around. Wiltshire is a beautiful county and many past visitors who have come on a course have said they must return sometime. At weekends, we enjoy welcoming people who want a quiet base from which thay can explore the southern Cotswolds such as Lacock, White Horse Country, historic houses at Corsham and Longleat, Bath and the many other tourist attractions in the area.
