What does the business traveller want?
At Well House Manor, we'll be providing somewhere comfortable to stay when you
have to be away from home on business, with all the facilities you'll need to
work from your room or our business centre. A business visit to Well House Manor
Well House Manor offers five (initially) en suite double or twin rooms as singles for the technical business traveller to Melksham. You'll find us, with plenty of parking, set back from the road a few hundred yards from Melksham town centre on the Devizes Road. If you come to Spa Road Garage, you've already gone too far!
You'll have booked online or by phone ahead of time, and you'll arrive any time from Midday. Enter the keycode you were given when you booked at the door, and you're "clicked" into the hall, where your welcome pack awaits you. If you arrive in town by train, with prior notice we'll collect you off the train and take you to Well House Manor. The X72 bus from Bath stops right outside and the National Express coach and other bus services are just up the road. If you have problems with the keycode, there's also a call button / system to contact us. Your room (initial phase) is on the first floor, and you'll find: • A large double bed (can split to twins) • En suite tiled bath or shower room • Flat screen 19"+ TV with Freeview and a DVD player built in • Spacious Work desk with power points (3) and Ethernet connection above • 2 work chairs and a comfortable chair. There's no telephone in the room. Probably no bible either. Decor is modern, uncluttered in each room but colour scheme and details vary. Beds firm A folder labelled "RTFM", in a wall rack, contains all the information you might need about Well House Manor, your training course, places in the town to eat, drink, buy and exercise / entertain, and taxi / public transport information. Reading RTFM, you'll find yourself encouraged to call up on the phone and let us know that you've arrived (or you can do so via the web from our business centre if you prefer). You'll find that you're encouraged to bring in your own food from any of the many takeaways in town, and eat in the dining room; please clear away after yourself to the covered "for washing" box. Breakfast will consist: • Tea and Coffee • Orange Juice • Cereals (Cornfalkes, 1 sugared, 1 museli) • Brown bread, White Bread, Croissants • Butter, Margarine, Marmalade and Jam Available from 07:00 to 09:00 Eating will be at the banquet / refectory table - we've stayed on our own at places before and it can be lonely, so we'll encourage mixing.
