Jim
died Monday, May 15, 2000 in Harrisburg Hospital, and is survived
by his wife, Barbara C. Dunmire Thompson. He was employed by Dana
Engine Controls Distribution, Carlisle and was formerly employed
at Staples Distribution, Chambersburg and the ITT Domestic Pump
Co., formerly of Shippensburg. He was a loyal Philadelphia Phillies
fan and loved to fish, travel and watch birds. He was a member of
Mainsville United Brethren Church, where he was an assistant teacher
of the Disciples Sunday school class and belonged to the administrative
board. He also was a member of Sons of the American Legion Squadron
223, Shippensburg, and the Friends of Blackwater National Wildlife
Refuge.
