"Mass of Christian Burial for Mary L. Mahoney Bellwoar, 46, of 33 Bayview Place, Ocean City, N.J., formerly of Carlisle, was held Aug. 31 in St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Ocean City. She died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001 at Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point, N.J. Born in Carlisle to the late Edward A. and Ruth A. Mahoney, she was a 1973 graduate of Carlisle High School and attended Lock Haven College for one year before moving to Ocean City. She was employed at Tuckahoe Inn, Marmora, N.J. and Acme Markets, Seaville, N.J. Mrs. Bellwoar is survived by her husband, Richard J. Bellwoar; a son, Richard J. Jr. of Ocean City; two sisters, Ann Garrow of Somers Point andd Joan Rupp of Carlisle; four brothers, Richard and William Mahoney of Carlisle, Thomas Mahoney of Newville and James Mahoney of Pittsburgh; several nieces and nephews. Burial was in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, N.J. Godfrey Funeral Home of Ocean City and Palermo was in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to Seabrook House, 1 S. New York Ave., Atlantic City, N.J. or to a charity of one's choice."
