Beth "Bethie" Leffler Has a son and three gradnchildren and lives near Harrisburg with her husband Miles. Bethie says: "Life has been difficult but probably for many. I retired on disability on Nov. 3, 2001 due to the Hepatitis C virus. I am on treatment called the Pegasys and am doing good on it. In 2001-2002 I was Dept. Legislative Chairman for the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. What an honor! I had the opportunity to meet many of our Congress and Senate pertaining to our Veteran's. Out of this I won Outstanding Dept. Chairman in the state of Pennsylvania and brought back 2nd place on the National Level for my program of Hepatitis C and veteran's. HB 592 which makes in mandatory to recite the Pledge of Allegiance in every class room before school starts finally passed. We worked on that for 2 years. So if you have a problem with One Nation Under God, don't contact me. Miles and I just celebrated 10 years of marriage which is a record for me but I love him dearly. Jojo is doing well, but my dad, Mac Greist passed on March 27, 2007. My son Michael is Chief of Operation Programming with the Commonwealth's Computer Data Base.
